From desktop computer video systems to advanced, digital video non-linear editing suites and Fibre Channel SANs, Videotex has been a leader in digital video technology since 1984. Videotex is a Value Added Reseller of audio visual products with a specialty in digital video. Supporting Windows, and MAC platforms, Videotex provides complete solutions for your digital video, streaming video, video production, projector, digital signage, DVD, MPEG2, multimedia, animation, digital camera, imaging, & presentation needs.

We specialize in system solutions, such as non-linear video editing systems, DVD authoring systems, MPEG2 encoding systems, projector and Audio Visual (AV) installations, video production, and multimedia workstations. Although these are our specialties, we are not limited to these products. We can provide you with over 50,000 products at competitive prices.

Audio visual installations are our specialty.  Whether you need a simple projector and screen, or a complex four camera broadcast studio, we're here to design, install, service, and support your installation.

We accept Net 30 accounts from Fortune 1000 companies, schools, state, local & federal government, hospitals and universities - a printed Purchase Order is required.  Otherwise, we accept payment by credit card, Paypal, bank wire, or COD.

History

Founded in 1984 by Bob Gillman, Videotex Systems, Inc. is a privately held corporation that is celebrating its 25th year.  Debt free and profitable, Videotex has been under the same management for the life of its operations.

Dallas Business Journal ranked Videotex the #1 locally owned Audio Visual Dealer in Dallas in their 2007 survey released 7/4/03 based on revenues.  Videotex ranked #5 on the list when national companies were included.

Dallas Business Journal ranked Videotex the #1 locally owned Audio Visual Dealer in Dallas in their 2001 survey released 9/6/02 based on revenues.  Videotex ranked #4 on the list when national companies were included.

At NAB 2002, Matrox names Videotex Systems the Top Digisuite/RT2500 reseller for the US for 2001.  This is the third year in a row that Videotex has taken top honors for sales, and support on the broad line of Digisuite/RT2500 systems.

Videotex named top Worldwide DigiSuite Reseller

Matrox awarded Videotex its top 2 honors for DigiSuite sales at NAB 2001 in Las Vegas on April 21,2001.  For the 2nd year in a row, Videotex took the honors for the top US reseller of the famed DigiSuite products.  And new for this year, Videotex pulled ahead of every other reseller in the world, and was named top Worldwide DigiSuite reseller.  Thanks to our many customers who have supported our efforts for excellence in sales and service!

At Siggraph 2001, Discreet named Videotex a Top Reseller for the year 2001 for outstanding performance and customer supports.  Thanks to the Videotex team and our customers for helping us achieve this award.

Discreet honors Videotex as a Top Reseller  for 2000

At Siggraph 2000, Discreet announced that Videotex was one of the top resellers for Discreet - in the Southeast region.  Discreet products include edit*, combustion*, 3D Studio Max, and others.
