Matrox
RTMac version 4.1 for Mac OS X Panther and Final Cut Pro 4.1.1 now
available. NEW!
Matrox Video Products Group announces the release of Matrox RTMac version
4.1 for Final Cut Pro 4.1.1 on Mac OS X. These drivers add support for Mac
OS X Panther (v10.3) and are required for use with Final Cut Pro 4.1.1 only.
Before you can install this software, you must upgrade to Apple Final Cut
Pro 4.1.1 and QuickTime 6.4 or later. You can download QuickTime from the
Apple web site at
www.apple.com/quicktime.
Download the Matrox RTMac OS X software from the RTMac software at
http://www.matrox.com/video/support/rtmac/software/home.cfm.
Note: The RTMac 4.1 drivers will not work with Final Cut Pro 4.0. If
you want to use RTMac with Final Cut Pro 3 or 4 (Mac OS X), you must use
Matrox RTMac version 4.0 drivers.
Please note that the Power Mac G5 is not supported with Matrox RTMac.

Leitch is please to announce a new flavor of our award
winning VelocityQ product line, Q3D-5210 VelocityQ 2x4 Bundle.
The Q3D-5210 VelocityQ 2x4 model combines the Velocity
software interface with the Quattrus real time hardware, to form a tightly
integrated multi-layer NLE solution. It also features guaranteed real-time,
full quality playback of four streams of video - in any combination of
compressed or uncompressed - and up to six graphics streams. The VelocityQ
2x4 model features the new Q3DX2™ dual-channel 3D DVE, which provides two
simultaneous channels of real-time 3D effects, including perspectives,
warps, and rotations.
In contrast, the existing VelocityQ 4x4 line includes the
Q3DX4 quad-channel 3D DVE. The VelocityQ 4x4 line also includes as standard
a rackmountable audio/video break out box, while I/O connections to the
VelocityQ 2x4 are provided through the included breakout cable, with the
break out box available as an option. Beyond the break out box and the
effects capabilities of the respective DVE modules, the new VelocityQ 2x4
and the existing VelocityQ 4x4 are functionally and technically identical.
The Q3D-5210 will include the same third party software packages as the
Q3D-5410DX: eyeon’s DFX+, Inscriber TitleMotion, Sonic Real DVD Studio and
Sound Forge XP Studio.
The Q3D-5210 is the perfect solution for customers that
want the power of VelocityQ but may not require the full power of our 4x4.
This product is ideal for those customers that want to add an additional
VelocityQ system to their existing suite at a very reasonable price point,
