Capture Your Footage from the AG-HVX200 with the FS100 as Normal by
setting "1394 Control" in the "Other Functions" menu to "EXT"
Don’t attempt to shoot in the "Native" 720P Modes-
On the FS100
Set the "Control" to "Tapeless"
Keep all other settings to default.
After you're done Shooting, Go to Utilities on the FS100: Choose
"Organize P2"
Then go the "DD Mode" and select "DD Drive"
Hook up to your computer via Firewire and then select "Enable".
The FS100 should then mount on your Workstation.
Then go into FCP and "Import Panasonic P2" just like you would
normally import from the Camera or other P2 Device.
After you're done importing, you can simply Delete the media from
the FS100 from the desktop just like it was a firewire drive.
How to work with VARIABLE FRAME RATES with the FS100
Set your Camera for 720P 24P,30P or 60P
Under SCENE FILE: Change "Operation Type" to "Film Cam" and then
Adjust your Frame Rate as you please.
Capture into the FS100 as normal.
After you import into FCP, Open a New Project (important), highlight
your Clip and then select "DVCPRO HD Frame Rate Converter" under the
"Tools" Menu.
Now you have instant Fast-Mo or Slo-Mo footage!
